The National Advocacy Network (or NAN) is the only fully inclusive network for advocates and advocacy schemes across the UK. NAN believes that advocacy is necessary and should be freely available to safeguard the rights and welfare of the most excluded people in society. We are committed to supporting and defending all forms of advocacy, and we recognise that a broad spectrum of advocacy provision should be available according to the specific needs of individuals and communities. Our membership includes advocates working in every different style and with every different user group. Our annual conference is firmly established as the most important event of the national advocacy calendar. |
