Our 10th anniversary conference is now over. It was the biggest conference yet, and we put a lot of effort into making it the best yet. All indications are that we were successful (although things did fall off a bit near the end).
We're not finished yet though, and you can continue to participate through this website - whether or not you were one of the lucky 162 delegates. Go to the Conference pages for reports, presentations, comments, and live blogs. We're collecting powerpoint slides and other handouts that are available to watch on this site (via Google Docs), and we're also making them available to download via our free space on Box.net. Please interact through the comments on this site, or email us direct via our contact page. |

The National Advocacy Network (or NAN) is the only fully inclusive network for advocates and advocacy schemes across the UK. NAN believes that advocacy is necessary and should be freely available to safeguard the rights and welfare of the most excluded people in society. We are committed to supporting and defending all forms of advocacy, and we recognise that a broad spectrum of advocacy provision should be available according to the specific needs of individuals and communities. Our membership includes advocates working in every different style and with every different user group. Our annual conference is firmly established as the most important event of the national advocacy calendar. |
